A. Cyrix offers PC systems to commercial accounts only.

Q. What models are available?
A. Cyrix offers only custom-built 6x86-based PCs. A customer can choose the combination of options they desire and build a system to meet their needs.

Q. Do you have a portable model?
A. No.

Q. What operating systems are supported on the Cyrix PCs?
A. Windows® 95, Windows NT, Windows for Workgroups, Windows 3.11, DOS 6.x, and OS/2®.

Q. What motherboard is used in the Cyrix 6x86 PC?
A. The 6x86 PC uses industry standard P54C-socketed motherboards.

Q. Is the Cyrix 6x86 PC compatible with all PC software?
A. Yes. The 6x86 PC has been tested on hundreds of the most popular business applications, utilities, design programs and games, plus Windows 95, Windows NT, Windows, OS/2 and UNIX.

Q. Is the 6x86 system upgradeable at a later date?
A. Yes. All Cyrix PCs have built-in upgradeability that lets you add components with the ease of the Windows 95 plug-and-play standard. Additionally, each model features both PCI and ISA slots to accommodate your expansion needs.

Q. How much does a 6x86 PC system cost?
A. Cyrix PC systems are now available to commercial accounts only. For purchasing information, please contact Cyrix Support.

Q. Will Cyrix 6x86 PCs be available in retail stores?
A. No.

Q. What warranty comes with the Cyrix 6x86 PC?
A. All Cyrix systems come with a standard three-year limited warranty.

Q. What kind of technical support does Cyrix offer?
A. Technical Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and our PC specialists are ready to answer your technical questions. Cyrix makes it easy to contact Cyrix Support with toll-free hotlines and E-mail support.

Q. How do I obtain updated drivers for my computer?
A. We provide a list of driver updates on both our Web page and BBS where this is possible. In some cases, we will refer you to a vendor's Web page or BBS for the latest drivers.

Q. How will I get local support for my Cyrix 6x86 PC?
A. Cyrix offers a one year on-site service contract which is included in the price of the system. This local support is provided by DecisionOne, a leader in computer service and support.

Q. How is on-site service handled?
A. The purchaser calls Cyrix Technical Support for problem diagnosis at which time every effort will be made to resolve any problem over the phone. If a technician is needed (and the purchaser has elected to purchase the on-site service contract), Cyrix Technical Support will dispatch a field service technician who will contact the customer to arrange a service appointment.
