Cyrix Logo Guidelines

Corporate Signature

The Cyrix signature consists of the logotype ("Cyrix" in logoface) and the tagline ("Advancing the Standards"). The logotype should never appear without the tagline. The only exception occurs when the Company itself authorizes the logotype to be used as part of a product mark.

The Cyrix name and signature are registered trademarks of Cyrix . The registration mark (®) is a part of the signature and should always appear superscripted to the right of the "x". The 6x86™ logo is a trademark of Cyrix. The symbol (™) should appear superscripted to the right of the final "6."

Product Logos

The Cyrix 6x86 processor logo consists of the Cyrix logotype with the registration mark, the 6x86 logo with trademark, and the word "processor." This updated presentation should be used in all advertising and marketing communication. The "P+" designation is only to be used on a representation of the processor itself � never as a stand-alone logo. Similar guidelines apply to the 5x86 processor logo.

Signature and Product Logo Colors

The Cyrix signature and product logos may be reproduced only in black, white or Cyrix green (PANTONE� 3288). When indicating Cyrix green with process inks, the proper screen mix is 100% cyan, 10% magenta, 60% yellow and 0% black.

Unacceptable Signature and Product Logo Usage

Do not deform or distort the shape of the signature/logos.
Do not replace the logotype with a different or "close" typeface.
Do not alter the position of the Cyrix tagline or use the logotype without the tagline.
Do not print the signature/logo in any colors or combinations other than those approved.
Do not screen, overprint or apply textures, patterns or additional colors to the signature/logos.
Do not apply textures, patterns or competing colors to the background.
Do not surround the signature with a distinctive border.
Do not place competing elements too closely to the signature.
