6x86 Processor Motherboard Compatibility List
Updated: January 8, 1997
The motherboards listed below have been tested for 6x86 processor electrical and functional compatibility by Cyrix Platform Verification Lab (PVL) and/or field engineers. This includes detailed application-based testing using Winstone® 96 and 32 benchmark suites under Windows® 95.

Motherboard Compatibility List Notes
- This is not an exclusive list. The boards listed below are only those that have been tested by Cyrix's Platform Verification Lab and field engineers. Other boards might be available that work just as well.
- If your preferred supplier is on this list, be sure and request the configuration recommended below.
- It is the motherboard vendor's responsibility to guarantee compatibility of newer board and BIOS revisions.
- All testing includes, but is not limited to, the following: operating systems -- Windows 95, Windows NT, OS/2, UNIX; hardware -- PCI, IDE and SCSI peripherals; software -- Windows applications, games.
