Swindon, UK -- October 30, 1996 � Cyrix International�s high-performance 6x86™ processor is being used by top European PC vendor Tulip Computers to power various systems in their desktop product range: the Tulip DE (Corporate) and the Tulip DE (Multi Media).
Featuring the Cyrix 6x86 P150+ or P166+, the Tulip DE range offers customers the choice of either the Tulip corporate DE, a flexible PC aimed at the corporate market place or the Tulip multimedia DE, a high-performance fully equipped multimedia version. The products will be available in all 18 European countries where Tulip has its own National Sales Organisation. Tulip will offer these products to major accounts as well as through its distribution and reseller network.
