Cyrix Announces Promotion of Vice President

Richardson, Texas - October 27, 1995 -Cyrix Corporation (NASDAQ: CYRX) today announced the promotion of Everett Roach as Vice President of Asian Sales and the resignation of Vice President and General Manager of Microprocessors, Ron Jankov. Jankov moved earlier in the month to Cyrix's corporate headquarters in Richardson from Taipei, where he was Vice President of Asian Sales. Roach moves to Hong Kong from California, where he was Senior Regional Sales Manager.

"Ron left behind a solid management team in our various Asian sales offices when he made the move to Texas earlier this month," said Jerry Rogers, Cyrix President and CEO. "The promotion of Everett Roach to Vice President of Asian Sales will provide a seamless transition for the sales effort in the Asian market. James Chapman will remain Senior Vice President of Sales."
