Richardson, Texas -- February 3, 1997 -- Cyrix Corporation (NASDAQ: CYRX) today announced that Kenneth Edoff has joined the Company as Senior Vice President of Sales. Mr. Edoff joins the Company from Hitachi, LTD, where he was Senior Director of Sales and Marketing for the Computer Products Division. Prior to that, Mr. Edoff held senior sales management positions in the computer industry with Quantum and Xerox.
Mr. Edoff will oversee Cyrix�s worldwide sales efforts. He brings to Cyrix broad U.S. and International experience in managing the long-term business relationships of customers ranging from large Tier 1 PC companies to other OEM�s, value-added resellers and distributors.
