DeChaud was asked late last year to take on the challenge of establishing a credible manufacturing organization for Cyrix. "Nancy has successfully ramped the 5x86 into production and demonstrated a cost-effective, pre-production run of the M1 in advance of final production," Rogers said. "One of the original designers of the Cyrix math coprocessor and Cx486, Nancy's ascension to vice president speaks volumes about her ability, and the importance of the manufacturing function at a growing, fabless company."

"Mike Barton takes on the title of vice president of sales for the Americas at a time when Cyrix's profile as a supplier to top-tier, domestic OEMs is poised to expand," Rogers said. "Mike's extensive experience in the industry is crucial to the company's ability to expand its business into new markets."
